Whitewater paddling is nice on Esopus Creek, and Victory Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Long Pond Lake Family Campgrounds is a tremendous local campground. Summertime highs at Victory Lake generally tend to be in the 70's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's usually in the 60's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Victory Lake are in the 10's. Victory Lake sees pretty high

down to Victory Lake. There's so much to do here at Victory Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Interlake Farm Campground is a tremendous location for that, and Days Inn Poughkeepsie is a fine place to get some rest.
