Summertime highs at Victory Lake generally tend to be in the 70's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's usually in the 60's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Victory Lake are in the 10's. Victory Lake sees pretty high       levels of rain; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain while February is typically the driest month. In case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Wappinger Creek, and if you need a place to stay Quality Inn Hyde Park is a glorious choice. This lake is so wonderful. One of the dominant features of the surroundings of Victory Lake is Barnes Hill, and if you get bored of Victory Lake you                  could also take a look at nearby Lake Chloe. A round of golf at nearby College Hill Golf Course is a fine way to kill some time, and a lake nearby is Browns Pond. If you want a pleasant time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Victory Lake.
