This lake is so wonderful. Near Van Luven Lake you stumble on a golf course called Rip Van Winkle Country Club, and camping at Woods Road Campsite is always a good experience. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Catskill Creek, and camping is available at Brookside Campgrounds. This lake is so wonderful. Van Luven Lake is located in the Catskill Mountains. This spot, the Catskill       Mountains, has so much outdoors enjoyable things. While you're here at Van Luven Lake, you could also pop by beautiful Canoe Lake; if you need a site to stay Comfort Inn Saugerties is a great choice. This location is excellent, just explore all the exciting stuff to do near Van Luven Lake. Taking a little journey to nearby Dewitt Point is a glorious idea; a glorious nearby hotel is Saugerties Howard Johnson Inn.
