Valentine Pond is a lake worth visiting. A nice close by hotel is The Sagamore, and Baldwin Mountain is easy to spot from Valentine Pond. Get your pulse rate up on the fine whitewater of Trout Brook River, and good hiking is available along the Pharoah Mountain Trail. Whohoo, so many cool things in one place! This lake is so wonderful. A perfect spot to camp here at Valentine Pond is Riverside Pines; not far from Valentine Pond you'll find Smith Pond which is a charming lake. Now, you may believe that's plenty but there's even more amusing things to do here in the Adirondack Mountains. wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Wakonda Family Campground is a wonderful local campground, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Valentine Pond; Long Swing Trail is a great local trail.

at Valentine Pond highs are commonly in the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Valentine Pond.
