This lake is located in the wonderful Adirondack Mountains. Valentine Pond gets a normal amount of rainfall; through the month of August you get the most rain around here, and February on the other hand is the driest. If you have a thing about the outdoors, you'll adore Valentine Pond. Get your heart beating on the glorious whitewater of Schroon River; if the weather is fine, you can go for a hike along the Long Swing       Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Valentine Pond is a pleasant spot to visit for more than one day, Wakonda Family Campground is a pleasant spot to camp nearby. That right there is loads of exciting things already but it goes on, the Adirondack Mountains has it all. The view of pretty Baldwin Mountain near Valentine Pond is great; a scenic lake like Smith Pond is a splendid spot to check out. Everybody close by loves skiing at Gore Mountain, and lakes                  are such peaceful sites, why not pop by Densmore Pond. The Sagamore is a tremendous place to get some rest; going for a hike along the Spectacle Pond Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. This lake is so wonderful. A pleasant nearby hotel is Lake George/Warrensburg Super 8 Motel; a nice place for whitewater paddling is Trout Brook River. High temperatures at Valentine Pond during the long summer days are in the 70's, and the nighttime is somewhat colder of course, frequently in the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Valentine Pond. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting stuff in the Adirondack Mountains.
