Man, is there plenty of exciting things to do in close proximity to Utsayantha Lake. Stay the night at Nickerson Park Campground, and since you're here and you like golf, you can go to Stamford Golf Club. Through the warm days of summer here at Utsayantha Lake, high temperatures frequently reach the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's while Utsayantha       Lake night low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 10's. Just can't get enough of the Catskill Mountains. Stratton Falls Campground is a great campground nearby; the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Belleayre. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Best Western Inn Of Cobleskill is a perfect choice; Ski Plattekill is a very popular ski area in the vicinity. Utsayantha Lake gets a common amount of annual                  rainfall; through the month of June you get the most rain around here, and February on the other hand is the driest.
