The slopes of Mt. Peter are so inviting noone can resist; if you're looking for a beach nearby we recommend New Sebago Beach. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Beaver Pond is always a wonderful experience, and if you need a place to stay Hampton Inn Harriman Woodbury is a tremendous choice. High temperatures       at Upper Twin Lake throughout the months of summer are in the 70's while overnight lows are regularly in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Upper Twin Lake temperatures fall to the 10's. And if that's not enough, there's a heap more to do next to Upper Twin Lake. Good hiking is available along the Stillwell Lake Trail; one of the overriding highlights of the surroundings of Upper Twin Lake is Blackcap                  Mountain. Upper Twin Lake gets a great deal of water; the month with most of the rain is May, and the driest month of the year is February. And if you're still looking for more outdoors enjoyable things just keep reading. Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Central Valley Golf Club. Sterling Forest is a brilliant local ski area, and a tremendous site for whitewater paddling is Moodna Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Lower Twin Lake is a pleasant lake near Upper Twin Lake; it's a splendid idea to have a look at Lewis Brook.
