There's whitewater on Moodna Creek for all you thrill seekers, and going for a hike along the Ramapo-Dunderberg Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. This lake is so wonderful. Blackcap Mountain is clearly       visible from Upper Twin Lake, and hey, Lewis Brook is a magnificent local stream. Sebago Cabins Harriman is a wonderful campground nearby, and a charming lake like Lake Massawippa is a good spot to stop at. This lake is so wonderful. An afternoon playing golf at Central Valley Golf Club is always a bliss, and dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites West Point-Ft Montgomery, Ny. Do visit Lake Frederick close to Upper Twin Lake, it's a beautiful                  lake; hiking along the Stillwell Lake Trail is brilliant fun. If you need a place to stay Econo Lodge Highland Falls is a great choice, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Breakneck Ridge Trail. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Popolopen Creek, and splendid skiing awaits you at Sterling Forest. Be careful coming to Upper Twin Lake, you might not ever want to go back home again. Mt. Peter has good slopes and a friendly staff. Summertime highs at Upper Twin Lake generally tend to be in the 70's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's.
