In New York there are many beautiful lakes, Upper Reservoir is one of them. If you have a thing about the outdoors, you'll go for Upper Reservoir. This is no place for people who don’t like to have fun. On a beautiful day you get a sight of Black Rock from Upper Reservoir; The Thayer Hotel is a wonderful place to get some rest. The snow is nice at Mt. Peter, and Crystal Lake is a nearby lake that you could take a look at.

| | is always a tremendous experience, and playing golf is lots of fun at The Garrison Golf Club. Head up to Sterling Forest and strap some skis to your feet; paddling on Moodna Creek is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Stillwell Lake Trail is nice fun, and if you came to camp Beaver Pond is a great place to do that.

for a hike along the Woodtown Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. Get covered with water paddling on Popolopen Creek; a perfect close by hotel is Econo Lodge Highland Falls. Upper Reservoir is a wet site that
gets a lot of precipitation; most of the rain falls during May, and February is when it's the driest.
Nearby Black Rock Hollow is a tremendous site to go if you're at Upper Reservoir; you can have a fine hiking adventure along
the Appalachian National Scenic Trail. Summertime highs at Upper Reservoir generally tend to be in the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Upper Reservoir descend into the 10's.
