Here at Upper Lake there are plenty of folks from Jamestown-Dunkirk-Fredonia, and get your heart beating on the wonderful whitewater of Chautauqua Creek. A lot of rainfall falls at Upper Lake; the wettest month of the year is commonly September, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Days Inn Dunkirk - Fredonia; Upper Lake       is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Woodside Campsites is a fine local campground. There's so much to do here at Upper Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Arkwright Hills Campsite is a good site for that, and everyone close by loves skiing at Cockaigne. So much cool stuff in the vicinity of Upper Lake, clearly amazing. Through the warm months at Upper Lake highs are frequently in the 70's with overnight lows in the 60's. During the wintertime                  this place gets highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Upper Lake.
