In New York there are many beautiful lakes, Upper Ausable Lake is one of them. Man, is there lots of enjoyable things to do in the Adirondack Mountains. Upper Ausable Lake is a good place to visit for more than one day, Shearer's Riverside Campsite is a good place to camp nearby, and paddling on The Branch is so much fun. You truly must fancy the Adirondack Mountains. After a long day outdoors Econo Lodge Lake Placid is a splendid location to spend a night

| | or two; the view of Blake Peak is pretty. There's great hiking along the Range Trail, and Marcy Swamp is an exciting swamp near Upper Ausable Lake.
This lake is so wonderful. Spend the day on the beach at Jones Beach while you're here at Upper Ausable Lake, and no need to travel far to stop by exciting stuff like Cy Beedes Ledge. take a little journey to Cedar Brook if you're here.
The Adirondack Mountains scenery is always beautiful. The yearly rain here at Upper Ausable Lake is about average; the month with most of the rain is August while February is
the month with the least amount of precipitation. Go for a hike on the Dividing Ridge Trail, and whitewater paddling is delightful on John's Brook.
This lake is so wonderful. A splendid close by hotel is Courtyard Lake Placid;
glorious skiing awaits you at Gore Mountain. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things at Upper Ausable Lake. If you want a good time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Upper Ausable Lake. You can never
get enough of the tremendous skiing at Whiteface Mountain, and fine hiking is available along the Elk Lake Marcy Trail.
