Go to Twin Sister Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. This lake is located in the wonderful Adirondack Mountains. Twin Sister Lake gets a common amount of annual rainfall; throughout August this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. There is a brilliant hiking trail near Twin Sister Lake called the Stone Dam Trail.
That right there is a lot of fun stuff already but it goes on, the Adirondack Mountains

| | has it all. Going for a hike on the Twin Lakes Trail is always a good adventure, and lots of folks from Utica-Rome come here. Take a side tour to Twin Sister Creek, and you can never get enough of the glorious skiing at McCauley Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. West Pine Pond is a brilliant lake in the vicinity of Twin Sister Lake, and magnificent skiing awaits you at Woods Valley.

70's, and the overnight is a little colder of course, mostly in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's, and after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Twin Sister Lake drop into the 0's. And that's
not all you can do here at Twin Sister Lake. Drift down the rapids of Moose River in a kayak, and there are other places here than Twin Sister Lake, for example Mudhole Pond. Be careful coming to the Adirondack Mountains, you might
not ever wanna return back home again. Near Twin Sister Lake you come across the Forty Mountain Trail which is a glorious hiking trail, and camping is available at Moose River Camp Grounds.
A fine spot to camp here at Twin Sister Lake is Cold Brook Campsites; if you're hooked on cool geologic marks try Froth Hole.
