You just can't envision the amount of outdoors enjoyable things the Adirondack Mountains has to offer. Why not camp at Paradise Pines Camping Resort since you're here at Twin Pond, and if you need a place to stay Courtyard Lake Placid is a splendid choice. Twin Pond truly is in the middle of a striking outdoors paradise. Not far from Twin Pond, you'll come across Round Pond which is a wonderful       lake, and a great close by hotel is Econo Lodge Lake Placid. At Twin Pond all through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's while Twin Pond nighttime low temperatures through the winter are in the 0's. Whohoo, so many entertaining things in one place! The Adirondack Mountains rocks! Whitewater paddling is tremendous on The Branch,                  and hiking along the Leach Trail is glorious fun. An average amount of rainfall falls at Twin Pond; the wettest month of the year is generally August, that's the one that rains the most; the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on John's Brook is so much fun; why not take a refreshing hike along the Weston Trail. Twin Pond is one of the lakes here in the Adirondack Mountains. The snow is great at Whiteface Mountain, and Twin Pond is right by the Stimson Trail. You can catch a glimpse of Nubble from Twin Pond; if you came for an overnight stay Shearer's Riverside Campsite is a pleasant spot to camp. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes?
