Twin Lakes is a lake worth visiting. Twin Lakes is located in the Catskill Mountains. Summertime highs at Twin Lakes frequently tend to be in the 70's while overnight lows are mostly in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Twin Lakes temperatures dip to the 0's. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Dry warm beds await you at Outdoor Inns; during your visit here you'll meet some people

There is a splendid hiking trail close to Twin Lakes called the Kanape Jeep Trail, and if you need a place to stay Ramada Inn is a pleasant choice. Camping is available at Ulster County Four-h Camp, and why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Wiltwyck Country Club. Whohoo, so much exciting stuff in one place! Twin Lakes sees pretty high levels of rain; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike
on the Phoenicia Trail is always a nice adventure; you can never get enough of the tremendous skiing at Hunter Mountain.
This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Hidden Valley Lake is always a pleasant experience, and paddling on
Rondout Creek is so much fun. Now, you may think that's heaps but there's even more cool things to do here in the Catskill Mountains. Float down the rapids of Saw Kill River in a kayak; from Twin Lakes you acquire a splendid vista of Fly Mountain.
