Through the summer at Twin Lakes temperatures are regularly in the 70's while nighttime lows are commonly in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Twin Lakes. Hunter Mountain is a very popular ski area around here. And if that's not enough there's a heap more entertaining things to do in the Catskill Mountains. Whitewater paddling is not for       everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Rondout Creek, and if you get bored of Twin Lakes you could also pop by close by First Lake. You feel that's enough? Just getting warmed up. If you're visiting Twin Lakes from Kingston, you won't be the only one. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Twin Lakes has to offer, you can camp at Camp Huntington. Near Twin Lakes you hit upon a golf course called Wiltwyck Country Club, and don't leave Twin                  Lakes without first going for a hike along the Phoenicia Trail.
