The beauty of Twin Lakes is reason enough to stop by. Twin Lakes is located in the Adirondack Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Twin Lakes that you need to camp here for a while, Adirondack Gateway Campground is a delightful site for that; naturally South Branch Black River flows through this neighborhood. Going for a hike on the Forty Mountain Trail is always a perfect adventure, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody
