Through the warm days of summer here at Twin Lakes, high temperatures commonly reach the 70's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Twin Lakes. Take a hike on the Party Trail; Cotton Lake is a brilliant lake nearby. Why not stop at nearby       South Branch Black River while you're here at Twin Lakes, and after a long day outdoors Knights Inn Little Falls is a great site to spend a night or two. Twin Lakes generally gets a lot of rain; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. There are other places here than Twin Lakes, for example North Branch Lake; if you came to camp Nicks Lake Campgrounds is a delightful place                  to do that. So much amusing stuff to do here in the Adirondack Mountains, too great to be true. Camping at Adirondack Gateway Campground is always a great experience, and Black River - South Branch has a perfect whitewater paddling spot nearby. So much fun stuff close to Twin Lakes, simply remarkable. Swamps can be such attention-grabbing locations, take a look at Twin Lakes Marsh while you're here at Twin Lakes, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby McCauley Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. Have a delightful hiking adventure along the Forty Mountain Trail; if you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Black River. The Adirondack Mountains scenery is always beautiful. All year is a perfect time in the Adirondack Mountains if you adore the outdoors.
