There are some perfect whitewater spots on Roeliff Jansen Kill River; if you need a location to stay St Charles Hotel is a delightful choice. If you come at the right time of year, Esopus Creek offers some great whitewater, and camping is available at Camp Eagle Hill. High temperatures at Twin Lakes all through the summertime are in the 80's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Daytime highs during       the wintertime are in the 30's; night lows at Twin Lakes all through the winter mostly dip into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Brook N Wood Family Campground is a splendid site to camp; a good nearby hotel is Comfort Inn Saugerties. Whohoo, so many cool things in one place! Twin Lakes is so good! At Twin Lakes you can observe Turkey Hill, and do check out Doove Kill since you're here at Twin Lakes. You can never get                  enough of the tremendous skiing at Catamount, and if you've had enough of Twin Lakes, Warackamac Lake is nearby. A typical amount of rain falls here at Twin Lakes; the wettest month of the year is mostly May, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month is January. This lake is so wonderful. For you golfers we recommend nearby Red Hook Golf Club.
