Happy Hollow Campground is a brilliant local campground, and hey, Gotta ski right? Woods Valley is a delightful location to do that. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Moose River, and as expected, this is a delightful neighborhood for folks who like lakes, Alexander Pond is a lake close by. Dry warm beds await you at Paul Revere       Lodge, and if you come at the right time of year, Independence River offers some great whitewater. Turin Reservoir is a good location of normal precipitation; during November this area sees the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Snow Ridge; almost certainly you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Crystal Pond is just a very short distance away.
