A visit to Trout Lake is always a good idea. Getting to Turner Brook from Trout Lake is easy; the Lost Cabin Trail is a good hiking trail nearby. All the water falling down from the sky makes Trout Lake a wet place; the wettest month of the year is typically May, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. There is a great hiking trail close to Trout Lake called the Schiff Trail. Dry warm beds await
