Green Mansion Golf Course is a pleasant golf course nearby; skiing at West Mountain is one of those things you just have to do. Just can't get enough of Tripp Pond. But wait, there's more to do next to Tripp Pond. A quick visit to Cataract Brook near Tripp Pond is a great idea; Tripp Pond is a nice location to visit for more than one day, Forest Lake Camp is a nice location to camp nearby. Going for a hike       on the Pharoah Mountain Trail is always a glorious adventure, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Gore Mountain while you're here. All the outdoors cool things in the Adirondack Mountains will keep you coming back over and over. There is a brilliant hiking trail right next door to Tripp Pond called the Spectacle Pond Trail, and while you're here, you could also explore lovely Penny Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the                  Long Swing Trail; do pop by Meade Pond, it's a lovely lake. Tripp Pond is located in the Adirondack Mountains. A magnificent place for whitewater paddling near Tripp Pond is Schroon River, and a magnificent nearby hotel is Lake George/Warrensburg Super 8 Motel. Yeah, come up here to the Adirondack Mountains for a nice time. Chase Mountain is a peak you can see from Tripp Pond; you can stay the night at Schroon River Campsites. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Blue Lagoon on Lake Georg is a perfect site to spend a night or two, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Glens Falls here. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Tripp Pond. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 20's with temperatures at Tripp Pond dipping down into the 0's during winter nights.
