Lake Treman gets a common amount of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is regularly June, that's the one that rains the most, and January is when it's the driest. the months of summer at Lake Treman highs are generally in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 30's while Lake Treman night low temperatures during the wintertime
are in the 10's.
This lake is so wonderful. Lake Treman is great enough to spend more than a day at, Buttermilk Falls is a great local campground, and the Potomac Trail is a fine hiking trail close by. There is a pleasant hiking
trail near Lake Treman called the Burnt Hill Trail; if you come at the right time of year, Cascadilla Creek offers some good whitewater.
Going for a hike on the Gorge Trail is always a tremendous adventure, and a good location to take a look at is Coy Glen.
