Having a great time at Trask Pond is painless. A pleasant location for whitewater paddling next to Trask Pond is Treadwell Creek. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Mount Tone if you're here. There's so much to do here at Trask Pond that you need to camp here for a while, West Branch Angler and Sportman is a great spot for that. This lake is so wonderful. While       you're here at Trask Pond, you could also go to pretty Beaver Meadow Pond, and let's not forget Chase Brook which is a stream that you may stumble upon during your stay. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Trask Pond has to offer, you can camp at Ox-bow Campsites, and dry warm beds await you at East Branch Motel. Trask Pond gets a lot of water; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is when it's the driest.                  You can run the rapids of Ouleout Creek in the vicinity of Trask Pond, and if you need a location to stay Walton Motel is a fine choice. High temperatures at Trask Pond during the warm months are in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's.
