     The beauty of Tomhannock Reservoir attracts many people from all around. An average amount of rainfall falls at Tomhannock Reservoir; May is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. Just can't get enough of Tomhannock Reservoir. Otter Creek is a pretty stream that is worth taking a look at; Poesten Kill River is a good whitewater spot nearby. There are plenty of people from Albany-Schenectady-Troy here at Tomhannock Reservoir,  
   and a great sight of beautiful Piser Hill is available.
Everybody nearby loves skiing at Willard Mountain. Camping is available at Deer Run Camp Grounds; dry warm beds await you at Hampton Inn Albany/Latham. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Phoenix Naturist Resort is a great spot to camp, and you can run the rapids of Hoosic River.
The slopes of Hickory Ski Center are so inviting noone can resist; after a long day outdoors Clarion
 
               Hotel Century House Hotel is a perfect site to spend a night or two. Throughout the warm months, highs typically are in the 80's at Tomhannock Reservoir. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Tomhannock Reservoir.
