Going for a hike on the Twin Lakes Trail is always a perfect adventure, and why not head up to McCauley Mountain and strap some skis to your feet. This lake is so wonderful. This place, Tom Kettle Lake, it truly has so much outdoors exciting stuff. There is a pleasant hiking trail in close proximity to Tom Kettle Lake called the Party Trail, and let's not forget Concklin Brook which is a stream       that you may come across while you're here. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Grant Hotel is a glorious place to spend a night or two, and do stop by Curtis Lake, it's a stunning lake. There's so much to do here at Tom Kettle Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Adirondack Gateway Campground is a perfect place for that, and close by you discover the Forty Mountain Trail which is a great hiking trail. This lake is one of the great                  places here in the Adirondack Mountains. So much cool stuff to do in the Adirondack Mountains, not enough time. Black River is a wonderful whitewater spot close to Tom Kettle Lake, and if you came to camp West Canada Creek Campsites is a magnificent location to do that. A great deal of rainfall falls at Tom Kettle Lake; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is February. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Tom Kettle Lake. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. During the wintertime the highs are frequently in the 20's, and nighttime lows at Tom Kettle Lake during the winter commonly drop into the 0's. This spot, the Adirondack Mountains, has so much outdoors cool things.
