A lake close by is Horseshoe Pond, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Humbug Brook. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Lake Titus that you need to camp here for a while, Deer River Campsites is a nice location for that, and Diamond Pond is a nearby lake that you could go to. A golf course close to Lake Titus is Malone Golf Club, and at Lake Titus you       can see Elephants Head. On a wonderful day you can have a look at Tamarack Swamp, a swamp near Lake Titus, and the skiing at Mount Pisgah is great. Lake Titus gets a typical amount of rain; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is January. Lots of folks from Malone come to Lake Titus, and after a long day outdoors Econo Lodge Malone is a great site to spend a night or two. During the months of summer here at Lake                  Titus, high temperatures frequently get into the 70's, and the nighttime is a bit cooler of course, mostly in the 50's. Highs all through the wintertime are regularly in the 20's with temperatures at Lake Titus dipping down into the 0's during winter nights.
