Hit the beach if you want, Orchard Beach is practically right here, and after a long day outdoors Radisson Hotel New Rochelle is a delightful place to spend a night or two. Titus Millpond gets a great deal of water; July is when you get the most rain here; the driest month is February. Throughout the summertime months here at Titus Millpond, high temperatures commonly reach the 80's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Highs during the winter

This lake is so wonderful. For you golfers we recommend nearby Bonnie Briar Country Club, and there's some out of the ordinary stuff to
catch a sight of at New Rochelle Harbor near Titus Millpond. Nearby lakes? Sure, Beechmont Lake is next to Titus Millpond, and people from New York-Newark-Edison love to come here. You could also stop at Premium Millpond while you're here at Titus Millpond; it's nearby, and you can stay the night at Soundview Sports.

| Is Oakland Beach having a fireworks display on Saturday July 4TH? And if so what time? And do you have to pay for admission into beach?...The beach is rather small, barricaded on either side. The entry fee is 8$ per person. The north half of the beach was full of sea weed and very uninviting. It seemed to be not very deep all the way to the rocks, which can be fun to play in.... |

| KISSENA LAKE IS ONE BEAUTIFUL BODY OF WATER!! AND TO THINK, ITS IN NYC IN QUEENS COUNTY. THE SURROUNDING PARK IS GREAT ALSO!! SO MUCH TO DO HERE. THE LAKE IS PRETTY COOL, HAS LARGEMOUTH BASS, SUNFISH. ALTHOUGH THE FISH DONT BITE ALL DAY, THEY EAT AT DIFFERENT TIMES MAKING IT PERFECT TO TRY TO GET YOUNGSTERS HOOKED ON FISHING. THE PARK IS GREAT TO JUST WALK IN THE WOODS OR GO FISHING AND TO FORGET ABOUT LIFE FOR A WHILE!!... |
