What a spot this is for outdoors folks. Stay the night at Triple R Camp Ground, and you can go for a hike on the Trail Number 9. This lake is so wonderful. Wingate by Wyndham Ellicottville is a great spot to get some rest, and going for a hike on the Trail Number 4 is always a nice adventure. This lake is so wonderful. Skiing at Holiday Valley is one of those things you just have       to do, and there are some magnificent whitewater spots on Cattaraugus Creek. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Cattaraugus Creek - South Branch, and a great panorama of pretty Jackman Hill is available. Timber Lake is a good spot to camp, Rainbow Lake Resort-business Ofc is a good spot, and during your journey here you'll meet some people from Olean for sure. All through the summer months, highs commonly are in the 80's at Timber Lake. Once the sun is                  down it dips down to the 50's. All through the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 30's while Timber Lake overnight low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 10's. Very striking scenery and good skiing is what you get at Holimont, and nearby you come across the Trail Number 5 which is a good hiking trail. A normal amount of rainfall falls here at Timber Lake; all through September this area sees the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture.
