All the outdoors amusing things near       Thurber Pond will keep you coming back repeatedly. Why not camp at Lake Lauderdale Campgrounds since you're here at Thurber Pond; obviously Cambridge Creek flows through this vicinity. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is great here at Thurber Pond, you can go for a hike along the Bald Mountain Trail; why not head up to Willard Mountain and strap some skis to your feet. Here at Thurber Pond you'll most likely meet some folks from Bennington, and                  Batten Kill River has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot nearby.
