Having a splendid time in the Adirondack Mountains is easy. You're probably hooked on lakes, Little Salmon Lake is one of those nearby; if the weather is beautiful, you get a glorious sight of Raymond Hills from Threemile Vly. High temperatures at Threemile Vly during the days of summer are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's; winter       nights come with lows in the 0's to Threemile Vly. All the water falling down from the sky makes Threemile Vly a wet spot; most of the rain falls through August, and the driest of the months is February. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a tremendous time here at Threemile Vly. Nearby lakes? Sure, Sucker Pond is close to Threemile Vly, and if you came for an overnight stay OLD Forge Camping Resort is a nice location to camp. But wait, there's more amusing                  stuff to do in the Adirondack Mountains. Don't leave Threemile Vly without first going for a hike along the Party Trail, and Nicks Lake Campgrounds is a good local campground. This lake is so wonderful. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by McCauley Mountain, and there are nice sites to look at along the California Trail. West Canada Creek has a magnificent whitewater paddling spot nearby, and Mile Vly is a swamp in the neighborhood of Threemile Vly. Seabury Brook is one of the streams nearby that might be worth a visit; whitewater paddling is tremendous on West Canada Creek - South Branch. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Twin Lakes Trail is always a good adventure, and dry warm beds await you at Knights Inn Little Falls.   Knights Inn Little Falls, Little Falls 22 miles away Full Service Restaurant and Lounge Banquet.
