From a rain point of view The Three Ponds is a pretty normal place; through August this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is January. Yep, outdoors entertaining things truly is abundant here in the Adirondack Mountains. Here at The Three Ponds you'll in all probability meet some people from Glens Falls, and while you're       here, do take a visit to Kattskill Bay. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is brilliant on Hudson River, and Sly Pond is a glorious lake close by. If you want a nice time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Adirondack Mountains. A round of golf at nearby Queensbury C C Golf Course is a brilliant way to kill some time; don't leave The Three Ponds without first going for a hike along the Treadway Mountain Trail. And if that's not sufficient,                  there's a heap more to do right next door to The Three Ponds. Stay the night at Mohawk Campground, and everyone close by loves skiing at Willard Mountain. The Three Ponds is one of the lakes here in the Adirondack Mountains. Throughout the months of summer at The Three Ponds highs are usually in the 70's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and night lows all through the winter for The Three Ponds tend to be in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Pharoah Mountain Trail. You'll need more than a day to discover everything The Three Ponds has to offer, you can camp at River View Campground. Go for a hike on the Berrymile Pond Trail; if you need a site to stay The Sagamore is a perfect choice. The skiing at West Mountain is great; lakes are such serene sites, why not pop by Inman Pond.
