The Three Ponds is one of the lakes here in the Adirondack Mountains. After a long day outdoors Blue Lagoon on Lake Georg is a delightful place to spend a night or two, and Pilot Knob is a peak you can catch a sight of from The Three Ponds. At The Three Ponds throughout the warmest time of the year highs are in the 70's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. The wintertime brings       highs down to the 20's, and overnight lows in the 0's for The Three Ponds. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Mohawk Campground; Willard Mountain has perfect slopes and a friendly staff. Really glorious skiing awaits you at West Mountain. There's so much to do here at The Three Ponds that you need to camp here for a while, River View Campground is a fine location for that. Going for a hike on the Treadway Mountain Trail is always a great adventure.                  Yep, outdoors exciting things truly is plentiful here in the Adirondack Mountains. There are delightful spots to look at along the Pharoah Mountain Trail, and you're sure to run into some great people from Glens Falls here. And if that's not enough, there's lots more to do close to The Three Ponds. Playing golf is lots of fun at Queensbury C C Golf Course; The Sagamore is a splendid place to get some rest. The Three Ponds gets a normal amount of rainfall; during August this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is January. If you want a splendid time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Adirondack Mountains. Kattskill Bay is near The Three Ponds and is a good location to stop at, and close by you locate the Berrymile Pond Trail which is a brilliant hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by close by Inman Pond, and there's whitewater on Hudson River for all you adrenaline people.   The Sagamore, Bolton Landing 6 miles away The Sagamore is the perfect year-round getaway.
