Thompsons Lake is a nice lake to visit. If you have a thing about the outdoors you'll have a thing about it here in the Catskill Mountains. This is a good area for folks who like lakes. Helderberg Lake is a lake close by, and you're sure to come across some wonderful folks from Albany-Schenectady-Troy here. Horseshoe Lot is a magnificent place to stop by while in the region, and a brilliant spot to camp here at Thompsons Lake is Thompson's Lake State Park. During

of Thompsons Lake; if you need a place to stay Stardust Motor Inn is a fine choice. Thompsons Lake is a good site of typical rainfall; the month with most of the rain is June, and the driest of the months is February. This lake is
so wonderful. The slopes of Windham Mountain are so inviting nobody can resist, and whitewater paddling is pleasant on Basic Creek.
You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing things in the Catskill Mountains.
