If you are traveling by, why not stop by Third Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Howard Johnson Inn. There's so much to do here at Third Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, National Camp Assn is a brilliant place for that. Beaver Pond Brook is a good place to check out; Big Hill is easy to spot from Third Reservoir. Old Sebago Beach is next to Third Reservoir if you're in a beach type of mood, and Third Reservoir

| | is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Camp wabenaki is a splendid local campground. There are other sites here than Third Reservoir, for example Second Reservoir, and if you want to hit the beach, New Sebago Beach is in close proximity. Be careful coming to Third Reservoir, you might not ever want to go back home again. look at File Factory Hollow. This lake is so wonderful. Third Reservoir is a location with many visitors from New York-Newark-Edison. Gotta ski! Sterling Forest is a tremendous place to do that, and going for a hike on the Suffern-Bear
Mountain Trail is always a great adventure. The Woodtown Trail is a great hiking trail close to Third Reservoir, and picturesque scenery and glorious skiing is what you obtain at Mt. Peter. Third Reservoir sees pretty high levels
of rainfall; May is when you get the most rain here; the driest of the months is February. If you want a great time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Third Reservoir. You can run the rapids of Popolopen Creek in close
proximity to Third Reservoir, and if you need a site to stay Candlewood Suites Nanuet-Rockland County, Ny is a wonderful choice. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Third Reservoir. Throughout the moonlight hours it's regularly in
the 60's. Throughout the winter the highs are typically in the 30's; after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Third Reservoir dip into the 10's. There's whitewater on Ramapo River for all you thrill seekers, and
if you're here and you like golf, you can take a look at Minisceongo Golf Club. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such peaceful places, why not stop by Breakneck Pond close to Third Reservoir; nearby you locate the Breakneck Ridge Trail which is a good hiking trail.
