Third Pond is a nice lake to visit. Through the warmest time of the year at Third Pond highs are frequently in the 70's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. Highs throughout the winter are commonly in the 20's, and overnight lows through the wintertime for Third Pond tend to be in the 0's. spend a night or two, and Third Pond is a great site to visit for more than one day, Adirondak Loj is a great site to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Elk Lake Marcy Trail, and Whiteface Mountain is a wonderful
local ski area. You're possibly interested in lakes, Boreas Ponds is one of those nearby, and the peak of Moose Mountain can be observed from Third Pond. This lake is located in the wonderful Adirondack Mountains. Whohoo, so
much amusing stuff in one place! The Adirondack Mountains is unbeatable! Have a tremendous hiking adventure along the Dividing Ridge Trail. Lakes are good; Second Pond is a lake that's in the neighborhood of Third Pond. Get yourself
into a kayak and hit John's Brook; hey, LeClaire Brook is a splendid local stream. The yearly rain here at Third Pond is about average; during the month of August you get the most rain around here, and February is when it's the driest.
