The beauty of Third Lake attracts many people from all around. A typical amount of rain falls here at Third Lake; all through the month of August you get the most rain around here; February meanwhile is the driest month. The Adirondack Mountains scenery is always beautiful. At Third Lake through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 70's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are

If you come at the right time of year, Sacandaga River offers some splendid whitewater, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at West Mountain since you're here. And if that's not enough there's a lot more cool stuff to do in the Adirondack Mountains. Nearby lakes? Sure, Fourth Lake is close to Third Lake, and a great place to camp here at Third Lake is Down Hill Campground. | |

If you need a place to stay Lake View Hotel and Conference Center is a fine choice, and needless to say, this is a pleasant area for people who like lakes, Lake Luzerne is a lake nearby.
Yeah, come here to Third Lake for a wonderful
time. Lake George Hotel is a magnificent site to get some rest, and Third Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Mt Kenyon Camp Ground is a great local campground. This lake is so wonderful. The view of lovely Bullhead
Pond Mountain near Third Lake is glorious, and Third Lake is a spot with many visitors from Glens Falls. This lake is so wonderful. A golf course right next door to Third Lake is Bend of the River Golf Club, and skiing at Gore Mountain
is one of those things you just should do.
Just can't get enough of the Adirondack Mountains. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Schroon River, and there's some flowing water close by, Stewart Brook is a stream you can stop at while you're here.
