The beauty of Third Lake attracts many people from all around. A perfect place to stop at near Third Lake is Wallkill Valley, and during your trip here you'll meet some people from Kingston for sure. This place, Third Lake, it just has so much outdoors fun stuff. Whitewater paddling is tremendous on Saw Kill River, and a golf course nearby is Wiltwyck Country Club. This lake is so wonderful. Third Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. is a brilliant choice, and wonderful hiking is available along the Kanape Jeep Trail.
In case you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Rondout Creek; there's no such thing as a bad
day of skiing at nearby Windham Mountain. But wait, there's more to do right next door to Third Lake. Stay the night at Ulster County Four-h Camp.
