The Hamilton Mountain Fire Tower Trail is a delightful hiking trail near Tenant Lake; hey, Gotta ski right? Gore Mountain is a pleasant place to do that. A lovely lake like Bullhead Pond near Tenant Lake is a good location to visit; on a perfect day you can take a hike along the Oregon Trail. Summertime at Tenant Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's, and       during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 20's with temperatures at Tenant Lake dipping down into the 0's throughout winter nights. So many exciting things to do in the Adirondack Mountains, not enough time. Tenant Lake gets a common amount of annual precipitation; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. A splendid                  place to camp here at Tenant Lake is Northhampton Beach Recreation, and there are some splendid whitewater spots on East Stony Creek. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors cool things the area near Tenant Lake has to offer. Lakes are such peaceful spots, why not visit Sand Lake in close proximity to Tenant Lake, and during your journey here you'll meet some folks from Gloversville for sure.
