Lake Tekeni sees pretty high levels of rain; the wettest month of the year is typically August, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is February. What a spot this is for outdoors folks. Hiking along the Stone Dam Trail is delightful fun; Woods Valley is a nice local ski area. You'll beyond doubt wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff in the Adirondack Mountains. There's       so much to do here at Lake Tekeni that you need to camp here for a while, Singing waters Campground is a good location for that, and paddling on Moose River - Middle Branch is so much fun. If you go for the outdoors you'll go for it here in the Adirondack Mountains. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at nearby Okara Lakes, and going for a hike along the Twin Lakes Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. This                  lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Nicks Lake Campgrounds is a perfect location to do that; the skiing at McCauley Mountain is glorious. This lake is located in the wonderful Adirondack Mountains. If the weather is delightful here at Lake Tekeni, you can go for a hike along the Forty Mountain Trail, and Flatrock Mountain is striking and can be seen from here. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Lake Tekeni, you'll stumble on Wheeler Pond which is a stunning lake, and soar down the rapids of Moose River in a kayak. For the duration of the days of summer, highs typically are in the 70's at Lake Tekeni, and through the night it cools down to the 50's.
