The Adirondack Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Here at Tefft Pond you'll probably meet some people from Plattsburgh; get covered with water paddling on Saranac River. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Tefft Pond; Silver Lake Mountain Trail is a magnificent local trail, and Birch Tree Lodge is a great location to get some rest. You truly have to love Tefft       Pond. After a long day outdoors Mountain Brook Lodge is a glorious location to spend a night or two, and you can never get enough of the nice skiing at Whiteface Mountain. So much enjoyable stuff to do in the Adirondack Mountains, not sufficient time. Some close by water includes Silver Lake Brook, and why not take a refreshing hike along the McKenzie Pond Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at North Pole Campground. For the period of                  the months of summer highs here at Tefft Pond reach the 70's. Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's with temperatures at Tefft Pond dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. This spot, the Adirondack Mountains, has so much outdoors enjoyable things. Really brilliant skiing awaits you at Mount Pisgah; a wonderful spot to camp here at Tefft Pond is Douglas Corp Of Silver Lake. All the water falling down from the sky makes Tefft Pond a wet site; the wettest month of the year is regularly August, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is February.
