Fish Creek - East Branch has a great whitewater paddling spot close by; Verona Beach State Park is a nice campground here. This lake is so wonderful. Fort Stanwix National Monument is a perfect site near Teelins Pond; dry warm beds await you at Oneida Super 8 Motel. Teelins Pond is a rather wet place usually with a great deal of rainfall; November is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is July.       You believe that's enough? Just getting warmed up. There's some flowing water close by, Beaver Brook is a stream you can pop by while you're here, and paddling on Mohawk River is so much fun. If you came for an overnight stay Peaceful Pines Campground is a fine site to camp, and Rome Sand Plains is a wonderful spot to stretch your legs a bit. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Woods Valley since you're here. All through the summertime at Teelins Pond highs are commonly in the 80's while nighttime lows are usually in the 50's.
