day to enjoy all the cool things at Taylor Pond. The summit of Carmel Mountain can be observed from Taylor Pond, and going for a hike on the Schwartz Trail is always a magnificent adventure. This lake is one of the great places
here in the Adirondack Mountains. Gotta ski! Whiteface Mountain is a nice spot to do that; people from Plattsburgh love to come here. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Adirondack Mountains. Since you might be in a lake visiting
mood you can always check out nearby Mud Pond, and there is a fine hiking trail nearby called the Silver Lake Mountain Trail.
