Summertime highs at Tannersville Reservoirs generally tend to be in the 70's, and the overnight is a tad chillier of course, frequently in the 50's. This is a tremendous vicinity for folks who like lakes. Onteora Pond is a lake in the vicinity; don't leave Tannersville Reservoirs without first checking out Star Rock. Just can't get enough of the Catskill Mountains. There's nice hiking along the Phoenicia Trail; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Plattekill Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Willow Trail, and get your heart pumping on the pleasant whitewater of Saw Kill River. So many amusing things to do here at Tannersville Reservoirs, too great to be true.
