If you are in this part of New York make sure to pay a visit to Lake Tamarack. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Lake Tamarack you can take a hike along the Party Trail, and it's a great idea to stop by Little York Stream. You absolutely must go for the Adirondack Mountains. Ohio Gorge is a wonderful site to stop at close by, and if the weather is nice, you can go for a hike along the California Trail. You'll need more than a day to look at everything

| | Lake Tamarack has to offer, you can camp at Adirondack Gateway Campground; a tremendous place for whitewater paddling is West Canada Creek. If you love the outdoors, you'll like Lake Tamarack. Dry warm beds await you at Knights Inn Little Falls, and needless to say, this is a tremendous vicinity for folks who like lakes, Figert Lake is a lake nearby. Americas Best Inns-Herkimer is a pleasant place to get some rest, and on a nice day you can take a hike along | |

the Forty Mountain Trail. Lake Tamarack is one of the lakes here in the Adirondack Mountains. Man, is there loads of amusing things to do in the Adirondack Mountains. There's so much to do here at Lake Tamarack that you need to
camp here for a while, Trails End is a tremendous place for that, and West Canada Creek is a great whitewater spot close by. High temperatures at Lake Tamarack through the months of summer are in the 70's, and the nighttime is somewhat
cooler of course, usually in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's with temperatures at Lake Tamarack dipping down into the 0's all through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. The slopes of McCauley Mountain
are so inviting noone can resist; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit nearby Curtis Lake. The high level of rain makes Lake Tamarack a pretty wet place; August is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is February.
