Take a hike on the Forty Mountain Trail. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Tamarack Lake has to offer, you can camp at Moose River Camp Grounds. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Sunset Inn, and the view of Bare Mountain is striking. This lake is so wonderful. The Stone Dam Trail offers hiking at its best. If you have a thing about the outdoors, you'll have a thing       about Tamarack Lake. Glide down the rapids of Moose River in a kayak, and Tamarack Lake is right by the Twin Lakes Trail. If you want a glorious time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Adirondack Mountains. A quick spree to Middle Settlement Creek in close proximity to Tamarack Lake is a splendid idea; what would winter be without some skiing at Woods Valley. A great deal of rainfall falls at Tamarack Lake; August is when you get the most rain here,                  and the driest of the months is February. Tamarack Lake is a great site to camp, Singing waters Campground is a great site, and a lake nearby is Cedar Pond. The Adirondack Mountains scenery is always beautiful. These mountains rock, just explore all the entertaining stuff to do in the Adirondack Mountains. Paddling on Moose River - Middle Branch is so much fun, and hey, Gotta ski right? McCauley Mountain is a splendid place to do that. Summertime highs at Tamarack Lake commonly tend to be in the 70's while night lows are ordinarily in the 50's.
