Taft Pond is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. A round of golf at nearby Afton Golf Club is a delightful way to kill some time, and why not a little side spree to Bumps Creek. Sidney Super 8 Motel is a delightful site to get some rest; camping is available at Kellystone Park Campsite. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Howard Johnson Hotel is a good place to spend a night or two; you can run the rapids of Ouleout Creek.

Elk is uncrowded and really fun. They seem to make the best out off the conditions weather gives them. Good, long trails(for Pa). I liked the mini park. The ''bigger'' park made the best of the space. I surface lift in the park lets you session as long as you want, and stay in the park. Great for dialing in on my skillz. Couple of the rail and box features are really cool. I will go to Elk a couple times a year.... |
