From a precipitation point of view Taft Pond is a quite common spot; the month with most of the rain is June, and February on the other hand is the driest. Summertime highs at Taft Pond usually tend to be in the 70's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Taft Pond are in the 10's. A delightful place to       camp here at Taft Pond is Echo Lake Resort and Campground, and you can run the rapids of Bowman Creek. Susquehanna Motor Lodge is a good site to get some rest, and camping is available at Kellystone Park Campsite. Bumps Creek flows through this neighborhood; naturally, this is a good neighborhood for people who like lakes, Afton Lake is a lake around here. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors exciting things the area right next door to Taft Pond                  has to offer. For you golfers we recommend close by Afton Golf Club. This lake is so wonderful.
