Gotta ski! Catamount is a glorious place to do that, and you can go for a hike on the Brickhouse Mountain Trail. Tackawasick Lake gets a normal amount of rain; June is the wettest month with most rain while February is generally the driest month. Enjoy a round of golf at Burden Lake Country Club not far from Tackawasick Lake. There's so much to do here at Tackawasick Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Dingman's Campgrounds is a splendid place for

| | that. Man, is there a heap of amusing stuff to do close to Tackawasick Lake. After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn & Suites East Greenbush is a glorious site to spend a night or two, and don't leave Tackawasick Lake without first going for a hike along the Turner Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Here at Tackawasick Lake you can see Curtis Mountain. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Tackawasick Lake has to offer, you can camp at Alps Family | |

Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Lots of people from Hudson come to Tackawasick Lake, and swamps like Squaw Swamp are fun to explore. Knights Inn Castleton on Hudson/Schodack is a pleasant location to get some rest, and everybody
close by loves skiing at Jiminy Peak. Summertime at Tackawasick Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and after the sun is down
through the winter temperatures at Tackawasick Lake fall into the 10's. If only every site had this much outdoors enjoyable things, what a great earth it would be. Whitewater paddling is delightful on Poesten Kill River. Lakes are
fine; Mud Pond is a lake that's near Tackawasick Lake; going for a hike on the Taconic Skyline Trail is always a good adventure. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at close by Pikes Pond, and it's a delightful idea to stop by Alder Brook.
