Dry warm beds await you at Syracuse-Days Inn Canastota; a tremendous site to camp here at Sylvan Springs Reservoir is Lone Pine Camp Grounds. Fish Creek - East Branch has a great whitewater paddling spot close by; Sylvan Springs Reservoir is fine enough to spend more than a day at, TA-GA-Soke Campground is a fine local campground. At Sylvan Springs Reservoir during the days of summer highs are in the 80's;       the overnight is fairly chillier of course, usually in the 50's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Sylvan Springs Reservoir. Whitewater paddling is great on Mad River, and going to Fort Stanwix National Monument is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. Sylvan Springs Reservoir is a wet place that gets lots of rain; the month with most of the rain is November, and                  the driest month is July. What a site this is for outdoors people. This lake is so wonderful.
