Having a great time in the Adirondack Mountains is painless. If the weather is splendid here at Swan Lake, you can go for a hike along the California Trail; Swan Lake is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Adirondack Gateway Campground is a delightful local campground. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors cool things the Adirondack Mountains has to offer. Camping at Ace Of Diamonds Mine is always       a tremendous experience, and the Party Trail is a delightful hiking trail close by. But wait, there's more to do near Swan Lake. There is a magnificent hiking trail in the neighborhood of Swan Lake called the Twin Lakes Trail, and naturally Fourmile Brook is a scenic stream that is worth stopping at. This lake is so wonderful. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby McCauley Mountain, and don't miss out on a glorious swamp; Pooler                  Vly is right here at Swan Lake. At Swan Lake you can distinguish McCauley Mountain, and not far from Swan Lake you'll find White Lead Lake which is a gorgeous lake. At Swan Lake during the warmest time of the year highs are in the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's while the cold winter nights at Swan Lake are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Americas Best Inns-Herkimer is a pleasant spot to get some rest; West Canada Creek has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby. Swan Lake is a beautiful lake in the Adirondack Mountains.
