Callicoon Creek - East Branch is a brilliant whitewater spot near Lake Superior, and there are other places here than Lake Superior, for example Chestnut Ridge Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Island Glen Country Club is a golf course near Lake Superior, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Peenpack Trail. Woodstock On The Lake Campgrounds is a splendid local campground, and why not take a little       tour to Lemons Brook since you're here. This lake is so wonderful. The skiing at Holiday Mountain is brilliant; a great site for whitewater paddling is Delaware River. For the period of the long summer days here at Lake Superior, high temperatures frequently reach the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Lake Superior temperatures                  drop to the 10's. All the water falling down from the sky makes Lake Superior a wet place; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain; the driest month of the year is February. Lake Superior beyond doubt is in the middle of a beautiful outdoors paradise. Lakes? Sure, Little Black Lake is in the vicinity; after a long day outdoors Days Inn Of Liberty is a fine spot to spend a night or two. There's fine hiking along the Schiff Trail, and Lake Superior is a pleasant place to visit for more than one day, Happy Days Campground is a pleasant place to camp nearby.
