If you like lakes and you're in this part of New York you can check out Lake Sunset. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Lake Sunset. Summer night lows plunge down to the 60's. During the winter highs are ordinarily in the 30's while Lake Sunset nighttime low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. | | National Scenic Trail which is a brilliant hiking trail. Dry warm beds await you at Garden Cathay Resort, and Lake Sunset is nice enough to spend more than a day at, K O A-hudson Valley Campground is a nice local campground.

Yeah, come here to Lake Sunset for a great time. Get your heart pumping on the nice whitewater of Rondout Creek, and skiing at Sterling Forest is one of those things
you just must do. If you need a place to stay Econo Lodge New Paltz is a great choice, and if the weather is splendid, you can go for a hike along the Comfort Trail. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Wallkill River, and Apple Golf Course is a golf course nearby.
