That right there is plenty already, but it keeps on going; Sunset Lake has it all. A good place to camp here at Sunset Lake is Sylvan Lake Beach Park, and gorgeous scenery and glorious skiing is what you obtain at Thunder Ridge. If you're a golfer then a pleasant nearby course is Dutcher Golf Course; dry warm beds await you at Smalley Inn. This lake is so wonderful. There are swamps here too; Bear Swamp is close at hand,       and in the event that you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Ten Mile River. Sunset Lake gets a common amount of annual rain; the month with most of the rain is May; February is when it's the driest. Sunset Lake is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Clarence Fahnestock State Park is a brilliant local campground; from Sunset Lake you obtain a good panorama of Depot Hill. This lake is so wonderful. Here at                  Sunset Lake there are plenty of folks from Poughkeepsie-Newburgh-Middletown, and Pine Grove Motel is a delightful location to get some rest. All through the summertime months, highs mostly are in the 80's at Sunset Lake with overnight lows in the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's; during the dark hours in the winter at Sunset Lake temperatures descend to the 10's. Tenmile is a perfect whitewater spot close to Sunset Lake; do take a hike on the Appalachian National Scenic Trail.
