Take a hike on the Appalachian National Scenic Trail, and dry warm beds await you at The Copper Penny Inn. Having a splendid time at Sunset Lake is painless. If the weather is delightful, you obtain a good sight of Spy Hill from Sunset Lake, and if you come at the right time of year, Wappinger Creek offers some pleasant whitewater. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are glorious; Morgan       Lake is a lake that's in the vicinity of Sunset Lake, and you can stay the night at Sylvan Lake Beach Park. Sunset Lake gets a lot of water; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is February. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Esopus Creek. There's so much to do here at Sunset Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Interlake Farm Campground is a delightful spot                  for that, and a round of golf at nearby Mc Cann Memorial Golf Course is a good way to kill some time. Through the days of summer at Sunset Lake highs are typically in the 70's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's typically in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's; after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Sunset Lake drop into the 10's. This is a good vicinity for folks who like lakes.
