What a location this is for outdoors people. Get drenched paddling on Little River, and if you've had enough of Sunny Pond, Nicks Pond is close by. The annual precipitation here at Sunny Pond is about average; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is February. Through the summer at Sunny Pond temperatures are frequently in the 70's. All through the       dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 20's; overnight lows at Sunny Pond during the wintertime mostly drop into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Post Henderson Trail is always a good adventure, and Sunny Pond is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Robinson's Iga is a tremendous local campground. Clifton-Fine Golf Course is a magnificent golf course                  nearby; Pinecone Restaurant is a pleasant location to get some rest. Sunny Pond is a beautiful lake in the Adirondack Mountains. So much amusing stuff in the Adirondack Mountains, just astonishing. Camping at Higley Flow State Park is always a glorious experience; if you need a place to stay Newton Falls Hotel is a good choice. This lake is so wonderful. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting things in the Adirondack Mountains. There are good sites to look at along the The Loop; paddling on Oswegatchie River - East Branch is so much fun.
