If you are in this part of New York make sure to pay a visit to Summit Pond. Whohoo, so many cool things in one place! Summit Pond rocks! There are some good whitewater spots on Oswegatchie River - East Branch, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Salmon Lake Trail. There is a glorious hiking trail next to Summit Pond called the Big Deer Pond Trail, and Robinson's Iga is a delightful campground nearby. If you want a tremendous time in the great

A spree to Summit Pond wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Sliding Falls; if you come at the right time of year, Oswegatchie River - East Branch offers some great whitewater. This lake is so wonderful. Lots of folks from Ogdensburg-Massena come to Summit Pond, and unsurprisingly, this is a magnificent region for folks who like lakes, Mud Pond is a lake nearby. beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. On a delightful day at Summit Pond you can take a hike along the Norridge Trail. These mountains rock, just check out all the cool things to do in the Adirondack Mountains. You get a magnificent
sight of Summit Mountain from Summit Pond, and why not head up to McCauley Mountain and strap some skis to your feet. During the summer highs here at Summit Pond get into the 70's. Summer night lows plunge down to the 50's. The winter
brings highs down to the 20's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Summit Pond temperatures dip to the 0's. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out nearby Loon Lake, and you can stay the night at
OLD Forge Camping Resort. From a rain point of view Summit Pond is a pretty typical place; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month.
