    A visit to Sucker Pond is always a good idea. Summer at Sucker Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Sucker Pond plunge into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Get dripping wet paddling on West Canada Creek. If you want a glorious time in the great outdoors just come on  
   up to the Adirondack Mountains. Some of the water nearby flows, like Big Brook, and close by you hit upon the California Trail which is a perfect hiking trail.
This lake is one of the great places here in the Adirondack Mountains. Adirondack Gateway Campground is a tremendous campground here, and going for a hike on the Party Trail is always a glorious adventure. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit West Canada Creek - South Branch;
 
               a swamp like Mile Vly near Sucker Pond has lots of attention-grabbing things to see.
These mountains rock, just explore all the fun things to do in the Adirondack Mountains. A great close by hotel is Marina Motel, and McCauley Mountain is a pleasant local ski area. Sucker Pond ordinarily gets a great deal of rainfall; most of the rain falls during August, and the driest month is February. And if that's not enough, there's a lot more to do in the neighborhood of Sucker Pond. If you need a site to stay Big Rock Cottages is a fine choice, and a wonderful lake like Baby Lake is a perfect spot to stop at.
Stay the night at Cape Woods Campground, and the Twin Lakes Trail is a glorious hiking trail nearby.
